Reclining your seat

On a short economy flight, the small comfort gain is not worth imposing cramped space on the person behind you.

In cramped economy cabins, reclining severely reduces the already limited knee room and workspace of the passenger behind you on a short flight.

Reclining is a built-in feature of the seat you paid for, and a few inches on a short flight is a normal, reasonable use of your own space.
